Ceramic Workshop Create your very own unique spring chicken vases. You will be guided step-by-step by Amanda, and this is a great workshop for anyone new to pottery. You will hand-build a chicken ornament vase with stoneware clay and also paint/glaze a pre-fired (bisque fired) vase. • Hand Built Chicken Your work will need a couple of weeks to dry and be bisque fired, once fire, you can paint your piece at home using acrylics OR we can use our house white and glaze fire your pottery chicken……OR you are very welcome to come back to paint your chicken with our coloured glazes and we will re-fire it for you , we can discuss this and arrange a future 1 hour glazing session during the workshop. • Bisque Fired Chicken Vase The piece you paint in the session with our coloured glazes will be taken to be glaze fired with a gloss clear glaze. Your finished work should be ready to collect approx. 2-3 weeks after the workshop. This is an exciting, pottery class, suitable for adults with no or limited pottery experience. The workshop last for up to 2.5 hours.
