Pottery Workshop Create your very own ceramic creations !! You will be guided step-by-step by Amanda and this is a great workshop for anyone new to pottery. During the session you will make a bird inspired planter using stoneware clay as your first project to get used to how to hand build with clay. After a lunch you can choose a design from us:- - House Planter - Bird Wall Planter - Bird Feeder - Mug - Jug - Vase Or we can discuss your own design to see if that's possible within the time. There are refreshments provided (coffee/tea & cake) and this workshop is suitable for adult beginners. The session lasts for 3.5 to 4 Hours. Please bring your own packed lunch. What to Expect Step into our bright studio and learn the captivating craft of ceramics. In this medium-paced, hands-on workshop, you will learn the fundamental techniques of rolling, slab building and using slip & score to create your own unique piece. Because clay is a beautifully unique and sometimes unpredictable medium, this session requires focus, a steady hand, and a willingness to try something completely new. We move at a steady, structured pace to make sure you get the absolute most out of your time with us. Halfway through the session, we’ll step away from the tools for a short break to enjoy some complimentary refreshments, reset, and chat. Is this workshop right for you? If you are looking for a completely passive or silent craft, a shorter beginner session might be better for you - please ask before booking.
